Acceptance
Any instruction received by the contractor from an authorized representative of the legal entity for the supply of services shall constitute acceptance of the terms and conditions contained therein.

Variations
Quote only includes items stated, it is the client’s responsibility to ensure that they have read and understood the work quoted. Variations, additions or alterations are welcome but if possible be made before the commencement of work or on discussion with us, any changes will be subject to extra cost at
our hourly rate. A verbal agreement between parties is binding, it is preferable for us to have any variations on work or cost to be in writing.

Access
In order to complete the work in the most time-efficient manner, there may be scenarios where access through a neighbouring property will be required. This will be stated on the quotation and it is the clients responsibility to obtain permission for us to access any neighbouring property.

Hourly Basis
If the work is placed on an hourly charge, the hourly basis will be agreed with the client prior to the commencement of the work depending on the amount of staff attending. Travel time to and from the site will be charged at the hourly rate. Once agreed via verbal or email this agreement is binding.

Damage to Property
Any damage while stump grinding from roots going through cables and pipes that have not being installed at the correct depth will not be repaired by Urban Arborists Ltd but at the expense of the owner of the property. Damage caused by vehicles on lawns/turf will be discussed on quote, Urban Arborists Ltd will not be liable to repair this damage, we will however ensure that we keep any
damage to a minimum.

Guarantee
Urban Arborists Ltd will commence work once the quote has been accepted and on agreement with authorized representative a date of commencement. We will communicate any issues as soon as it is practical and do our best to assist and if necessary, an email outlining any issues that arise while operating
on the client’s premises. We fully support adhering to safety/operational/associated hazards information.

All safety equipment is used and will be compliant with Urban Arborists Health and Safety Manual and Site Wise requirements.

Payment Terms
A deposit of 50% is required on confirmation of quotes over $20,000. Otherwise any payment for work is expected on completion of the job as stated on the invoice or by arrangement within 15 days of invoice.

Interest and Legal Expenses
If you fail to make payment on due date you shall be liable to pay us:
Default interest on the outstanding amount calculated at 2.5% per month and shall accrue before and after judgement until final settlement of outstanding debt and administration fee of $15.00 per month. All expenses, including collection costs (20% plus GST) for obtaining the services of a debt collection
company and/or legal fees in relation to any overdue amounts. These amounts will be added to your account, the client will be liable for these fees.

Cancellation
The contractor or client may cancel the services by giving 10 days written notice. The contractor shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from such cancellation. The client may cancel services at the contractor’s discretion and will be liable if any costs are incurred by the contractor.

Definitions
Contractor means Urban Arborists Ltd and its authorized employees. Client means the person or authorized agent, or legal entity described in the quote / invoice requiring Arbor / Tree services fromUrban Arborists Limited.

Insurance
Urban Arborists Limited has public liability insurance of NZD $5 million. The policy document and schedule for the full policy terms, conditions and exclusions may limited by the scope of this insurance cover.
